- UP/DOWN NEEDLE POSITION--I love the choice of having the needle stop in the up or down position. Perfect for chain piecing and free motion quilting. Perfect for just about anything as a matter of fact!
- SPEED CONTROL SLIDER--I can vary the sewing speed according to my sewing needs. While I didn't think I would use this feature, it has become invaluable and my sewing has improved greatly by adjusting the speed in the mid-range.
- THREAD CUTTER--Another feature that I thought was a nice to have, but not a necessity. I have found I use this feature constantly.
I enjoy many other features of this machine and will tell you a little about each in the coming weeks. Needless to say, this sewing machine is a huge step up from my old White brand basic model.
